Fishing on Silver Lake

Silver lake offers some of the best sports fishing opportunity’s in New York State.  Study’s show that there are more perch per foot than any of the finger lakes dotted across central New York.  This ratio allows for large numbers of bait fish to support the trophy Northern Pike and Lunker Walleys that are pulled from the lake every year.  Situated east of Buffalo the lake is one of the first bodies of open water to freeze early in the season.  It is not uncommon to see 200 plus hearty souls fishing in December pulling jack perch to the surface one after the next.  Mack’s is open year round to support both the ice fisherman and summer sports fisherman’s needs.
